よくある質問

Q1. 切り抜きがうまくいきません。コツはありますか？

被写体の切り抜きは iPhone に内蔵された機能で行っています。次のような写真だと輪郭がきれいに出やすくなります。

  • 被写体と背景の色や明るさに差がある（黒い猫を暗い床で撮ると境界が出にくい）
  • 被写体全体が写真に収まっていて、大きく写っている
  • ピントが被写体に合っていて、極端な逆光や暗所ではない

うまくいかないときは、別の写真で試してください。毛先やヒゲのように細い部分は写真によって欠けることがあります。複数の被写体が写っている場合は、そのうちの一つが選ばれます。

なお、切り抜いた後で被写体の位置・大きさ・角度は自由に変えられるので、被写体が写真の端に写っていても構いません。

Q2. 機種変更しました。購入した効果を元に戻すには？

購入時と同じ Apple ID で App Store にサインインしていれば、追加の支払いなしで戻せます。

  1. アプリを開く（最初の画面が作品の一覧です）
  2. 画面左上のボタンをタップして「設定」を開く
  3. 「App内課金」の中の「購入を復元」をタップする

写真や作品が1つも無くても、この手順で復元できます。

「購入を復元しました」と表示されれば完了です。

うまくいかないときは、表示されたメッセージで対処が変わります。

  • 「復元できる購入が見つかりませんでした」
    1. 途中で App Store の認証（パスワード / Face ID）の画面をキャンセルすると、この表示になります。もう一度「購入を復元」をタップして、認証を最後まで完了してください
    2. それでも同じ表示になるときは、App Store にサインインしている Apple ID が購入時と同じものか確認してください（設定アプリ → 一番上のご自分の名前 → メディアと購入）
  • 「復元に失敗しました」
    通信環境の問題であることが多いです。Wi-Fi やモバイル通信を確認して、もう一度お試しください

多くの場合、アプリを起動した時点で自動的に購入状態が戻るため、この操作は不要です（オフラインのときや、App Store にサインインしていないときは戻りません）。

Q3. 対応している機種と iOS のバージョンは？

  • iOS 26.0 以降の iPhone
  • iPad には対応していません
  • 被写体の切り抜きは iPhone の機能を使うため、機種によって処理にかかる時間が変わります

Q4. 無料でどこまで使えますか？

購入なしで次のことができます。

  • RANDOM（写真からランダムに作品を作る）を回数無制限で
  • 被写体の移動・拡大縮小・回転
  • キャンバスの形（正方形 / 縦長 / 9:16）の変更
  • 背景の色を選ぶ（パレットから選ぶ / 自分で色を作る）
  • 被写体のトーン統一、自動補正、レタッチ
  • 写真アプリへの保存、共有シートからの投稿、動画の書き出し
  • 作品の保存・複製・削除

「エフェクト編集アンロック」（買い切り）を購入すると、ホログラム・模様・縁取り・仕上げ・背景パターンを、自分で選べるようになります。サブスクリプションではありません。追加の課金もありません。

購入は、画面左上のボタンから「設定」→「App内課金」→「エフェクト編集をアンロック」で行えます。編集中に有料の効果を選んだときにも購入画面が出ます。

なお、背景にパターン（模様）が付いている作品では、「色」がパターンの2色の指定に変わります。この2色はパターンと一体の機能なので、購入が必要です。

Q5. 動画から作品を作れますか？

作れます。ギャラリー下部の「追加」から動画を選んでください。背景と効果を反映したクリップとして書き出せます。

「RANDOM」から選べるのは写真だけです（一度に最大5枚）。

また、写真から作った作品にホログラムをかけると、光が動く MP4 としても書き出せます。書き出し画面の「動画 (ホログラム)」の項目から保存・共有できます。

Frequently asked questions

Q1. The cutout does not look right. Any tips?

The subject cutout uses the iPhone's own on-device segmentation. These conditions tend to give a cleaner outline:

  • The subject and the background differ in colour or brightness (a black cat on a dark floor gives the edge very little to work with)
  • The whole subject is in frame and reasonably large
  • The subject is in focus, and the shot is not strongly backlit or very dark

If a photo does not work, try a different one. Fine details such as fur tips and whiskers can be dropped depending on the photo. If several subjects are present, one of them is chosen.

You can move, scale, and rotate the subject freely after the cutout, so it does not matter if the subject sits near the edge of the original photo.

Q2. I got a new iPhone. How do I get my purchase back?

As long as you are signed in to the App Store with the same Apple ID you bought with, you can restore it at no extra charge.

  1. Open the app (the first screen is your list of pictures)
  2. Tap the button at the top left and choose 設定 (Settings)
  3. Under App内課金 (In-App Purchase), tap 購入を復元 (Restore Purchases)

This works even if you have no photos and no pictures yet.

You are done when "購入を復元しました" (Purchases restored) appears.

If it does not work, the message tells you what to do:

  • "復元できる購入が見つかりませんでした" (No purchases to restore)
    1. Cancelling the App Store authentication prompt (password / Face ID) also produces this message. Tap "購入を復元" again and complete the authentication
    2. If it persists, check that the Apple ID signed in to the App Store is the one you bought with (Settings → your name at the top → Media & Purchases)
  • "復元に失敗しました" (Restore failed)
    Usually a connection problem. Check Wi-Fi or mobile data and try again

In most cases this is unnecessary: the purchase is restored automatically when the app launches (though not while offline or signed out of the App Store).

Q3. Which devices and iOS versions are supported?

  • iPhone running iOS 26.0 or later
  • iPad is not supported
  • Cutout speed varies by device, since it uses the iPhone's own segmentation

Q4. What can I do without buying anything?

Without any purchase you can:

  • Use RANDOM (make a picture from a photo at random) without limit
  • Move, scale, and rotate the subject
  • Change the canvas shape (square, portrait, or 9:16)
  • Pick the background colour (from the palette, or mix your own)
  • Use tone matching, auto-enhance, and retouch
  • Save to Photos, post through the share sheet, and export video
  • Save, duplicate, and delete your pictures

Buying "Effect Editing Unlock" once lets you choose the holographic finishes, overlay patterns, edges, finishing looks, and background patterns yourself. It is not a subscription, and there are no further charges.

To buy it, tap the button at the top left, then 設定 (Settings) → App内課金 (In-App Purchase) → エフェクト編集をアンロック (Unlock effect editing). The purchase screen also appears when you pick a paid effect while editing.

Note that when a background pattern is applied, the colour row switches to that pattern's two colours. Those belong to the pattern feature, so they need the purchase.

Q5. Can I make a picture from a video?

Yes. Pick a video from 追加 (Add) at the bottom of the gallery. It exports as a clip with your background and effects applied.

RANDOM accepts photos only (up to 5 at a time).

Separately, a picture made from a photo with a holographic finish can be exported as an MP4 where the light moves. Look for the "動画 (ホログラム)" section on the export screen.
